Mission, Vision, Note from Principal

Our Vision

The Lowndes County School District provides a superior educational system that challenges all students to attain their greatest intellectual, social, and personal potential.

Our Mission

Challenge all students to attain their greatest potential.

A Note from the Principal

2015/2016 Important Information

  • Your student's MacBooks will be distributed along with the required, high quality backpack. Students MUST use THIS backpack for transporting their MacBook.
  • Your student's MacBook will come with a LCSD cover. This cover is required to stay on the MacBooks at ALL times. You cannot switch it for a different cover. DECALS (NOT Stickers) are allowed (like the ones that cling to windows).
  • Please help us in reading the Student Handbook posted on the Lowndes County School District website and explaining these guidelines/rules with your student.
  • Please be reminded that here at CMS we begin our day PROMPTLY at 7:42. After 7:42, your student will be considered tardy (1st tardy = Warning; 2nd tardy = Parent Contact; 3rd tardy = After-School Detention; 4th tardy = In-School Suspension).

Visit our website often to keep up with what events are taking place at CMS.
