A Note from the Principal
2015/2016 Start of School Information
- Please be reminded NOT to purchase your Middle School Student a backpack this year. Your student's MacBooks will be distributed at a later date along with the required, high quality backpack. For the first couple of weeks (until the MacBook rollout) they may use a previous year's backpack if they choose to do so.
- The $25 technology fee may be paid in 3 ways: bring the money to the middle school office, pay it online through the Lowndes County School District website, or bring it to the MacBook Rollout. However you choose to take care of the technology fee, be mindful to KEEP UP WITH YOUR RECEIPT. That is the only way you can get your MacBook issued.
- We will be having "grade level" meetings with all CMS students. We will cover things such as being ON TIME for school and each class, dress code, behavior, etc. Please help us in reading the Student Handbook posted on the Lowndes County School District website and explaining these guidelines/rules with your student.
- Please be reminded that here at CMS we begin our day PROMPTLY at 7:42. After 7:42, your student will be considered tardy (1st tardy = Warning; 2nd tardy = Parent Contact; 3rd tardy = After-School Detention; 4th tardy = In-School Suspension).
Visit our website often to keep up with what events are taking place at CMS.
